ERNEST A. MARVIN, III

Mr. Ernest A. Marvin, III, retired in January 2016 after over 35 years working with the US government.   He began working for the federal government during the summers of 1979 thru 1981 at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY for the US Army Corps of Engineers. His full-time career began in 1982 at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in New London Connecticut working in Software and Algorithm Development, Beam forming Applications, Sonobuoy Detection and Localization Systems, Torpedo Classification and Countermeasure Performance, Artificial Intelligence, and Sea Test Reconstruction.  In 1985, he worked as Lead Software Engineer installing the first Active Emissions Detection System on surface ships and expanded the effort to include a classification module for classifying active emissions by type.

DOREEN MARVIN

Doreen brings extensive experience working with education, healthcare, and communities. Ms. Marvin is trained in strategic planning, creative planning, service delivery design, business strategy framework, and systems approaches to organizational development. In addition, Ms. Marvin has worked with school districts to develop and test their teacher and administrator evaluation. Ms. Marvin has facilitated and assisted many education service agencies, school districts, and community-based groups in design, strategic planning, long-range planning, goal setting, communication, program design, and developing standards of operations. Of note is her ability to lead a team and to successfully execute a project, meeting deadlines and deliverables. Doreen has been trained in principled negotiation and conflict management strategies. She is praised for her ability to facilitate difficult conversations and to assist groups to come to agreements. She has strong project management skills and has served as an executive coach.

Stefan Marvin is the Director of IT services.  Stefan has career specific training in computer hardware, networks and maintenance procedures; operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and Apple; Microsoft Office programs; and HTML/XHTML language used in web design.  Stefan has extensive knowledge in remote maintenance and response to all IT support services.
